How the daily charge works
Everything about the money, in plain language.
The charge
- You are charged up to KSh 15 per day, taxes included.
- We ask for KSh 15 first. If your balance is too low, we may ask for KSh 10, 5 or 2 later that day. Only one charge is taken per day.
- The first charge is taken when your subscription is activated.
- After that the subscription renews automatically every 24 hours.
- The amount is deducted from your Safaricom airtime balance, or billed to your postpaid account.
- Charges continue daily until you send QUIT to 23800.
If your airtime runs out
- If your balance is too low on a renewal day, the charge simply does not go through.
- Access pauses until a renewal succeeds — you are never put into debt.
- We may retry later that day, at a lower amount, or on following days while you remain subscribed.
- Top up and access resumes on the next successful renewal.
- You stay subscribed during a pause, so send QUIT if you want it to stop for good.
Data charges are separate
Playing games uses mobile data, which is billed by Safaricom at your normal data rate and is not included in the daily fee.

Sending QUIT to 23800 cancels Cooptalk Games immediately and stops all future charges. The message is free, it works at any hour, and we confirm the cancellation by SMS.

Prepaid or postpaid, registered in Kenya.
An internet-capable phone
Any smartphone or feature phone with a modern web browser.
Mobile data or Wi-Fi
Games stream, so you need a working data connection while you play.

Enough balance for the first daily charge at activation.

Frequently asked
How much does Cooptalk Games cost?
Up to KSh 15 per day, inclusive of taxes; on a low-balance day a smaller amount (from KSh 2) may be charged instead. The subscription renews every 24 hours until you send QUIT to 23800. Mobile data used while playing is charged separately by Safaricom at your normal rate.
How do I stop the service?
SMS the word QUIT to 23800. Cancellation is immediate and free, and we will send you an SMS confirming it. You can also email support@cooptalkcommunications.com with your Safaricom number.
Was I charged without subscribing?
Cooptalk Games only activates after an opt-in from your line — either an SMS keyword to 23800 or a confirmation on the web consent screen. If you believe you were charged in error, send QUIT to 23800 to stop the service and contact support@cooptalkcommunications.com with your number and the date. We investigate every report and refund charges that were taken in error.
Do I need to download an app?
No. Cooptalk Games runs entirely in your phone browser. There is nothing to install, nothing to update and nothing taking up storage on your handset.
What happens when my airtime is finished?
The daily charge will not go through and your access pauses. You are never charged into a negative balance. Once you top up and a renewal succeeds, access resumes. Note that you remain subscribed while paused, so send QUIT if you want the service to end permanently.
Can I use my subscription on another phone?
Your subscription is tied to the Safaricom number that opted in. You can open your play link on any device, but the subscription and its charges stay with that number.
Are there any extra costs inside the games?
No. There are no in-game purchases, coins to buy or premium levels. The daily fee covers the entire catalogue.
Which networks are supported?
Cooptalk Games is currently offered to Safaricom Kenya subscribers through the Safaricom Service Delivery Platform.
